Currently, I am serving overseas in the United States Peace Corps, in a small country named Azerbaijan. I am working here as a Youth Development Specialist because I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor degree in Psychology. I also have experience as a Youth Development Counselor in a private and public school setting. My bachelor's thesis was about group dynamics and herd behavior with regards to music.

In my spare time, I have the wonderful opportunity to visit local, live music events. In the states, I loved going to concerts and seeing live performances, and I am lucky enough to be in a culture where they take pride in their music and I am able to regularly see live performances. Being an avid runner, I have completed many marathons stateside, and I am lucky to have the opportunity to continue my hobby but run and train for marathons in different countries.

I tend to think about and plan for the future. To keep me moving to my goals of being a Social Psychology researcher, I take courses online through Coursera, study for the GRE and learn new languages. My ultimate goal is to obtain my PhD in Social Psychology and study terrorism.
