I am Mahfuz Ahmed, a Social Work lecturer, social researcher, and social advocate dedicated to advancing human rights, gender equity, and public health through rigorous academic activities and community-based initiatives. My research interests include Gender-based Violence, Human Rights, Family and Child Welfare, and Public Mental Health. With years of diverse experience in research, training, and social action, I have developed a foundation in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, as well as in community mobilization and counseling.

I have contributed to impactful research projects on gender-based violence, psychophysical health, and couple conflict. I have published a paper on sexual harassment experiences in The Malaysian Journal of Social Administration. Additionally, I hold certifications in social justice, global health, and research methods from prestigious institutions worldwide

Driven by my commitment to meaningful and sustainable change, I aim to pursue higher studies and build my career in academia. I am particularly inspired by the idea of bridging academic research with real-world impact, creating inclusive, equitable policies that support underrepresented communities.
