As Executive Consultant at Seaton Associates, since 2006, Jim Seaton has been
consulting for SABIC and other major clients in Saudi Arabia on a wide range of corporate learning, executive/leadership development, OD and change management initiatives. From 2006 to 2008 he led a 6-person team to develop a new Corporate University which aligns learning activities in five strategic curricular areas with business objectives. After that he directed all learning and change management activities associated with a company-wide initiative to transform SABIC’s supply chain, He has also specialized in leading business transformation projects which have generated $200 million in cost savings and increased production at costs ranging between $50K and $100K (2,000% ROI).

Prior to beginning at SABIC, Mr. Seaton served as Vice President and co-founder for Think Training, Inc., where he had over 25 years’ experience in the design and development of management, sales, sales management and human resources training for Fortune 100 clients.

Prior to joining Think Training, Jim was Vice President of Touchstone Communications Associates, Inc. (TCA) where he specialized in the design of video and other interactive media-based staff development programs. At TCA, he developed programs in executive education, strategic planning, and sales and sales management for numerous Fortune 500 companies, the Federal government and International agencies. Among others, clients included Armstrong World Industries, Bechtel, BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Motorola, NY State's Department of Taxation and Finance, Polaroid, Seagram's and Tandem Corporation.

Before joining TCA, Jim was Director and co-founder of Communications Development Service (CDS), where he designed and developed large-scale training programs covering a wide range of human resource, project management and interpersonal problem-solving issues for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, the General Accounting Office and the U.S. Navy.

In addition, at CDS, he planned and directed staff conferences and workshops for numerous international development agencies, including the United Nations Development Program, UNICEF, the U.S. Agency for International Development and Save the Children Federation. He also wrote and produced slide and video documentaries of successful international development projects that were featured at United Nations conferences.

Jim received his bachelor degree from Yale University, and has completed course work towards a doctorate in psychology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
