Psychology Mentors, Inspirations, and Influences

  • Bill Benjamin
    Portland Community College
Bill Benjamin was my instructor for the fire academy and helped instill a knowledge of and love for the fire service. Bill is one of the reasons I try to excel in all that I do.
  • Dr. Sara Jahnke
    NDRI-USA, Inc.
Dr. Sara Jahnke was kind enough to mentor me when I was in undergraduate and graduate classes. She has since become my boss and has remained my mentor. She has excelled at fire service research over the last two decades and has a wealth of knowledge and experience she graciously shares with me.
  • Richard Lehmann
    Fire Chief, Ret.
Rich Lehmann took over for Bill Benjamin at the fire academy after he retired. I am so honored to call Rich a mentor and a friend. I learn so much about life and the fire service from him.
