With love, anything is possible.

My name is Yuliya. I was born and reside in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
I'm a life explorer, always eager for knowledge and practice.

Three greatest passions drive me to move forward with enthusiasm. First, I do love people. Since childhood I've been very curious about my own and others' personalities and behavior and tried to find explanation of everything. So when I grew up I earned a bachelor's, then - a master's degree in Psychology, which along with the private school's Psychotherapy course, formed my educational background. After graduation I worked for various social projects run by social and private organizations, where I developed team management skills. My last job was at a Psychological Service Department of a large Ukrainian bank. I've designed and administered programs aimed to increase employees' career motivation and stimulate leadership potential. Actually, now I'm planning to change my occupation gradually from administrative/managerial functions to an expertise in a specific method/subject of a social or cognitive-behavioral psychology.

My second passion is New York City. I truly adore it: its hectic pace, bright and brave inhabitants, vivid colors, loud music - every piece of NY is a piece of modern art that one day you can see in the street and the other - at the exhibit in MoMA. It's a place where immigrants from all over the world come together, a motherland for those who are willing to start over and rebuild themselves any way they want. I appreciate all those opportunities I've had to see and touch it and become a big friend of a Big Apple. During my last visit to NY I worked hard to improve English proficiency and (as a bonus) got to know many wonderful people from different countries which I hope to meet again and again.

My last passion is sharing. I like to share the results of my internal and outdoor adventures, to put a spotlight on some important information I've discovered, to get feedback from my friends, to exchange opinions and experiences. That's why I'm fond of photography and blogging and update social networks' accounts with all my "heritage" quite regularly. I'm really grateful to Coursera and "Social Psychology" course and to professor Plous for a chance to set up here one more "station" for my endless and border-less communication, this time in the professional environment. I wish it would also be useful for every new member of the network.
