I live in a small University town. I love the open spaces and greenbelt areas we have here and the sense of community that has been cultivated.

I have a degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz and worked for a few years near my hometown, a place that over time has become widely-known as Silicon Valley. As a child in the sixties, I knew it as Sunnyvale, a place of cherry orchards and winding streams.

My stint as an engineer taught me that I was in the wrong job for my talents and interests. I am a writer and I have always been a writer. To make money, I married my writing talent to my software/hardware knowledge and became a technical writer. An excellent fit for me and my clients!

I write fiction as well, something I've always done. I'm working on my first full-length novel. It is exciting, tiring and frustrating. My goal is to finish it to the best of my ability, no matter how long it takes.
