Hello! My name is Ricardo Gomes (as I like to be called). I'm 56 years old, I was born in Rio Grande do Sul (it would be like Texas) and I live in Brazil.

Today I am retired, but I work in the area of health insurance contracts and study Psychology in the mornings. This year I signed up for a specialization course in Autism. I have training in Coaching (Brazil).

I have a great interest in Social Psychology and Autism. My nephew was diagnosed with autism, which made me interested in the subject, combined with the ease of interacting with children and teenagers. I intend to work in the area of autistic development, with the aim of contributing to their integration into society, identifying and working on relationship aspects, to improve academic performance, quality of life, etc. I realize that autistic people want to be accepted and don't want to be alone. In this sense, I will do everything I can to contribute positively.

I don't like injustice and discrimination. I like everyone to be treated the same way.

I have nothing exceptional to tell or publish, I am an ordinary person and I live a simple and normal life. I live well with my wife and two children. However, I have big dreams and I hope to make them come true. Despite growing up in a difficult environment, I managed to overcome, with the help of God and my family. Today, I try to help those in need or who are going through difficult situations. That's why I chose Psychology, not to make money, but to make a difference.
