Dear Colleagues,
We would like to request any unpublished data you may have examining the effect of virtual reality experiences on empathy.
We are interested in data comparing VR experiences to any kind of control group, as well as data collected pre and post VR. Our definition of empathy includes both cognitive and affective empathy and includes a broad variety of measures such as measures of interpersonal closeness, compassion, concern, perspective-taking, psychological overlap, theory of mind and emotional resonance.
Because we are under a tight deadline we would appreciate if you could send us any data you think might be suitable for inclusion as soon as possible (preferably by March 1st 2019). We will gladly accept draft manuscripts as well as SPSS output, excel files, or other formats that are convenient for you. We will cite any data that is included in future publications.
As we have already conducted an extensive systematic literature review, if your data is already published we hopefully have already found it, however, you are welcome to contact us to ensure that we have!
Please pass this request to any colleagues who are working with virtual reality. We sincerely thank you for your assistance.
