Announcing an International Conference on the Teaching of Psychology at the Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites in downtown Vancouver, Canada. The conference will cover a wide range of issues related to the teaching of Clinical and Experimental psychology and teaching in general. It is designed for teachers of psychology and related disciplines at universities and colleges who are interested in enhancing their teaching skills, exchanging perspectives and exploring new ideas with colleagues from around the world. The conference will include topics such as classroom demonstrations, employability, psychological literacy and critical thinking, new teaching methods, and recent advances in specialized areas of psychology. In addition, there will be at least one concurrent stream of multidisciplinary talks examining more general educational issues such as recent pedagogical research, teaching technology, student retention and assessment, and online teaching.
