Dr. Phillip Atiba Goff’s Psychology of Social Justice Lab (PSJL) at UCLA offers a summer internship for students interested in basic and translational social justice research. Specifically, we look at racial and
gender disparities, immigration policy, and the treatment of adolescents, in laboratory and real-world settings. Summer Interns at PSJL will gain valuable experience in various aspects of conducting social psychology research including developing research materials, running participants, and handling data. Our summer interns also have the opportunity to work with the Center for Policing Equity (CPE), a network of academics, policy makers, and police departments around the country that works to ensure equity in law enforcement. To read about the experience of prior summer interns, go to:

Please help us spread the word about this summer opportunity by forwarding this flyer to your current students and alumni. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled, with a final deadline of March 1st, 2014. Interested parties should apply via our website under the ‘Get Involved’ Tab:
