Deadlines for the Annual Conference of the Society of Southeastern Social Psychologists are rapidly approaching.
We encourage you to take a moment to visit the conference web site at:

This year the conference is being hosted by Furman University and held in Greenville, South Carolina, on October 24th & 25th. Beth Pontari is the site coordinator. Chris Leone and LouAnne Hawkins, at the University of North Florida, are the program co-chairs. The deadline for submitting an abstract for consideration is September 15, 2008. You can submit your abstract electronically at:

Please be prepared to provide: (1) the names and affiliations of all authors; (2) the name, email address, and telephone number for a contact person; (3) an abstract of no more than 300 words; and (4) an abstract of 50 words to include in the program. If you have any questions or need assistance, please email Chris Leone (cleone@unf.edu) and copy the email to LouAnne Hawkins (lhawkins@unf.edu).
You can register by completing the registration form found on the web site and mailing it with your registration fee to Beth Pontari at Department of Psychology, Furman University, 3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville, SC 29613. Don’t forget to make your hotel reservations early to get the reduced rates. You can contact Hyatt Regency Greenville at 864-235-1234 and make certain that you tell them you are with the Society of Southeastern Social Psychologists.
