We welcome everyone to join us in this exciting collaboration between the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology and the International Academy for Intercultural Research – the first ever joint conference! In this initiative we aim to bring people together from all around the globe and across disciplines celebrating all things intercultural and cross-cultural and working together to take an evidence-based approach to solving critical global issues in Brisbane, at the heart of the Sunshine State of Australia, from the 28th of June to the 1st of July, 2025.

The theme for this joint conference will be "Bridging Intercultural Divides in a Digitally Connected World." This theme highlights the importance of researchers and practitioners coming together across disciplines, traditions, and geographical divides to build trust and connection among diverse peoples. A key objective of both IAIR and IACCP is to promote intercultural understanding and take an evidence-based approach to contemporary risks and opportunities in a globalized world. Our conference theme highlights how relationships are challenged, but also enabled by digital transformation and seeks to highlight new and emerging topics of interest in the fields of intercultural relations and cross-cultural psychology.

ABSTRACTS SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN NOW (they close on the 6th of December 2024).

See the attached promotional poster for more details.
