The Journal of Nonverbal Behavior invites manuscripts for a special issue focused on “Nonverbal Behavior in a Globalized Context”. The goal of this special issue is to explore ways in which nonverbal research can better inform interpersonal behavior and social relations in this era of globalization and multiculturalism. This special issue encourages, but is not limited to, empirical papers dealing with intercultural views of nonverbal behavior, stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination, conflict and negotiation, leadership, and intergroup behavior.
This special issue is scheduled for publication in 2007. Papers should be submitted online using the procedures found at:

Manuscripts will be peer-reviewed following standard journal procedures and should conform to the publication guidelines of the American Psychological Association. The deadline for submission is March 1, 2006.
