Postdoctoral Position in Organizational Behavior/Organizational Theory
The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University seeks applications from scholars with expertise in organizational behavior or organization theory for a postdoctoral position. The position is a two-year position. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and theory or a related social science discipline prior to beginning the fellowship, and should have a research, rather than a clinical focus. The position involves teaching 2 semester-long undergraduate Introduction to Organizational Behavior courses per year, with the expectation that the candidate will apprentice with a senior faculty member prior to teaching the course.
The postdoctoral researcher will be provided a research budget and will be invited to join in the ongoing research of faculty, audit courses, and participate in the Organizational Behavior and Theory group’s seminars and workshops. We are especially interested in candidates whose research interests complement the current faculty’s interests, as well as candidates who have prior teaching experience in Organizational Behavior or related disciplines.
To be considered for the position, please submit (1) curriculum vitae; (2) brief research and teaching statements; (3) up to three research papers; (4) up to three letters of recommendation; and (5) teaching evaluations to obtgroup@andrew.cmu.edu. Material may also be sent via the Postal Service to Ms. Rosanne Christy, Post-Doctoral Search Coordinator for Organizational Behavior and Theory, Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business, Posner 233, 5000 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. If you have any questions about the application, please contact Ms. Christy at 412-268-1320.
To receive consideration, an application must be complete by Monday, March 16, 2015.
Carnegie Mellon University considers applicants for employment without regard to, and does not discriminate on the basis of, gender, race, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
