Dr. Zimbardo:
Though I have never met you, you are somehow responsible for my love of psychology. As an undergraduate student your book, Psychology and Life, was the co-textbook used for Psychology 101. I was captivated by the simplicity with which you explained complex concepts. I read the book not as a text but as a novel or the like, and did so within 3 days.
I can honestly say that that book provided for me my first view of what psychology is -- and since then I have been hooked!!!
Happy retirement!!!!

Dear Dr. Zimbardo,
I took an introductory psychology class in high school in which we viewed many videos to help us learn. My favorite one by far was of your prison experiment. I think that you are very talented and smart. I look up to you as an esteemed psychologist, and now I might become one myself. Thanks for making great experiments and teaching children and adults like me around the world about psychology. Without this information, I would not have fallen in love with psychology.
