How Do I Operationalize Heutistic Processing?

Posted by: Chris Nolder Institution: Bentley University October 29, 2009, 3:10 pm I am comparing the degree to which two groups use heuristic processing (HP) vs. systematic processing (SP). Do you know of any studies that have operationalized both HP and SP in the same paper? My proposition is that Group A relies on HP to achieve its sufficiency threshold to a greater extent than Group B. I have theory and logic, just need literature. Thanks.
