Tenure-Track or 9-Month Social Psych Position: The Department of Psychological Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) seeks applicants for a 9-month or tenure-track position in social psychology, or a related area, at the assistant professor level beginning August 2014. The successful candidate must be committed to both teaching and scholarship, and able to develop an active research program that involves undergraduate students. The teaching load is typically three courses (two preparations) per semester. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. and evidence of excellence in teaching. Applications from candidates with an interest in developing distance courses to supplement our pending MS in I-O Psychology program would be especially welcome.

Missouri S&T is one of four institutions in the University of Missouri system. The campus is located in the beautiful Ozarks region of Missouri approximately 100 miles southwest of St. Louis and approximately 100 miles northeast of Springfield on Interstate 44. Rolla, a community of 18,000, enjoys a superb educational system, competitive cost-of-living, and abundant recreational opportunities. Research opportunities may be available at Ft. Leonard Wood, MoDOT (Missouri Dept of Transportation), and the regional medical center.
