ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY
The Psychology Department at Tufts University is seeking applicants at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for a tenure-track position in Social Psychology to begin September 2011. Area of specialization is open. Candidates must have an ongoing research program with evidence of, or strong potential for, extramural funding. In addition to an established research program in Social Psychology, candidates should be interested in forming connections with the Department's strengths in cognition and neuroscience. Besides teaching undergraduate/graduate courses in Social Psychology, some teaching of statistics and research methods courses and contributions to our Ph.D. program are expected.
Applicants should submit a C.V., a research synopsis, a statement of teaching philosophy, three letters of recommendation, and copies of representative scholarly work to: Social Psychology Search Committee, Department of Psychology, 490 Boston Avenue, Tufts University, Medford, MA 02155. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2010, and will continue until the position is filled.
