Dear Colleagues,
Please see attached Call for Papers: Special Issue entitled "Unpacking Beliefs in Emotion Regulation: Enhancing Psychotherapeutic Approaches Through the Extended Process Model" in the journal Behavioral Sciences. This special issue will explore contemporary advances in how patients’ and individuals’ beliefs about emotion regulation contribute to the advancement of theory, assessment, and/or treatment across various clinical phenomena. We aim to provide a more holistic understanding of therapeutic interventions.
At present, we only need an abstract—papers will not be due until March 31, 2026.
If you have any questions, please email one of us below.
Sincerely,
Sheila Macrine, Ph.D. (UMass Dartmouth) / smacrine@umassd.edu
Jennifer Fugate, Ph.D. (Kansas City University) / JFugate@kansascity.edu
