Dear Colleagues,
If you know of an excellent former undergrad who is looking for one year (or two years) of research experience prior to attending graduate school, I would appreciate it if you would bring the following job to their attention. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent bachelor’s-level graduate with a strong background in social science research to build experience and relationships in preparation for grad school.
Full time research assistant position in the Department of Psychology at Princeton University.
This is a 1-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. This position involves work in all aspects of the research process, including experiment and survey design, library and database research, recruiting study participants, running experiments, administering surveys, management/organization of data, coding data, analyzing data, and assisting in the preparation of manuscripts for publication.
Essential Qualifications
BA in Psychology or related field is required. Computer proficiency is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with any of the following is not required but would be a plus:
Excel, Adobe Photoshop, software for statistical analysis (e.g., SPSS), and experimental design (e.g., E-Prime, Direct RT).
