Dear colleagues,
My student and I are currently looking for a means to control for intelligence in a study relating to grades and personality characteristics. More specifically, we are looking for a measure that assesses cognitive reasoning/abstract reasoning to complement a measure of verbal ability that we have already obtained. Ideally, the measure should be brief, administered on paper and be applicable cross-culturally. Since we are not familiar with intelligence measures, we have been looking at similar studies and have found that other researchers are using either the Wonderlick, Baddley or a subset of the GRE. Are those measures sufficient or are there better alternatives?
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated,
Regards,
Do-Yeong
