Please see below for an announcement regarding a tenure-track position in Social Psychology at the University of Iowa. We are looking for candidates in any area of social psychology. The Department of Psychology at the University of Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Social Psychology to begin in the academic year 2011. We invite applications from candidates with outstanding research records who work within any area of social psychology. Applicants whose research or teaching interests could contribute to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences initiative on aging studies are particularly encouraged. The appointment is expected to be at the rank of assistant professor and requires that the Ph.D. be received by August 19, 2011. The review of applicants will begin on October 15, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled.
