Hello Everybody,
We invite you to attend our upcoming conference, "Culture and Mental Health: Risk, Prevention, and Treatment for Asian Americans" on April 30, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at UCLA's California Center for Population Research. This transdisciplinary conference will present ground-breaking research on Asian American populations. The program consists of a distinguished group of presenters including Dr. David Takeuchi, University of Washington, as the keynote speaker. Social and personality psychologists include Ramaswami Mahalingam, Jean Phinney, Todd Pittinsky and Tiffany Yip. You can find more information on the website link below.
There are also two optional training workshops on publishing and grant-writing for graduate students, postdocs and junior faculty on Saturday, May 1, 2010, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Registration for the conference is $40 to pay for the cost of refreshments/snacks, light breakfast, lunch, and conference reception.
